By accessing or using Embedsheet, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our Service.

2. Description of Service

Embedsheet is an application that provides:

Traditional spreadsheet functionality (formulas, charts, data analysis)
AI-assisted features powered by text embeddings and natural language processing
Automated data processing and analysis capabilities

3. User Accounts

To use certain features of the Service, you must:

Provide accurate and complete information when creating an account
Maintain the security of your password and account credentials
Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account
Be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction)

Important: You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account.

4. Acceptable Use Policy

Improve our Service functionality (we do not train AI models on your data)
Share anonymized, aggregated data for analytics purposes

The Service and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by Embedsheet and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

6. AI Features and Data Processing

Our AI features use text embeddings and machine learning to process your data:

AI Assistance: AI suggestions and completions are provided as helpful assistance, not professional advice
Content Validation: You are responsible for reviewing and validating AI-generated content
Service Improvement: We may analyze usage patterns to improve our service (we do not train AI models on your data)
Data Transmission: AI processing may involve data transmission to our service providers

7. Privacy

Your privacy is important to us. Please review our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and protect your information.

8. Payment and Billing

For paid services:

Secure Payments: Payments are processed securely through our payment providers
Billing Schedule: Subscription fees are billed in advance and are non-refundable
Price Changes: We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days notice
Payment Failure: Failed payments may result in service suspension

9. Service Availability

We strive to provide continuous service but cannot guarantee:

Engage in fraudulent or illegal activities
Fail to pay for services
Provide false or misleading information

You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us or deleting your account through the Service.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of New South Wales, Australia, without regard to its conflict of law principles.

Any disputes arising from these Terms will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New South Wales, Australia.

15. Australian Consumer Law

Our services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage.

You are also entitled to have the services repaired or replaced if the services fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
